Reaping Asmodeia’s most recent release “Shattered Leviathan” is streaming everywhere now, with a follow up single expected to drop in March 2025.
This marks the band’s first new music since 2021’s “Darkened Infinity” which was released via Prosthetic Records. “Darkened Infinity” was well–received by fans and peers alike, and took the band across North America several times with the likes of Born of Osiris, Cryptopsy, Abysmal Dawn, Origin, Signs of the Swarm, and more.
2024 saw fresh blood come into the band with the return of original bassist Jakub Kingery, and the addition of new lead vocalist Eric Keyes. The dynamic range of each of these new members opens the creative door much wider than ever before. Speaking on the lineup change, drummer Daniel Koppy states, “We are thrilled to welcome Eric Keyes as the vocalist of Reaping Asmodeia. Eric has been a longtime friend and a staple in the Minnesota metal scene. For those of you who have seen us on the road this year, you can tell the vibe on stage between us is exactly where it should be. Having Jakub back with us, and now Eric, has brought an amazing collective feeling of creativity and enthusiasm towards our future as a band.”
“Shattered Leviathan” is the first taste of music from the new lineup of Reaping Asmodeia, and teases a glimpse into the direction the band is headed. Once again self–produced, and mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (Suffocation, All Shall Perish), the band forges ahead more dynamic, more melodic, and as heavy as ever. Along with an accompanying music video, “Shattered Leviathan” is available now on all streaming platforms via Blood Blast Distribution.
