Psyclon Nine is the Dark Industrial mind-child of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nero Bellum. Since forming in the year 2000 Psyclon Ninehas cemented its name into the history books as one of the most infamous and successful bands of the Industrial and Metal crossover genres. They are often credited as being the father of “Blackened Industrial”.
Each of Psyclon Nine’s 6 full-length releases have charted internationally appearing in the Top 10 of the DAC and landing a position on the Top 200 Billboard Rock Charts in the USA. Their music video for Parasitic would go on to become the most viewed Industrial music video at over 6 million views.
Psyclon Nine garnered a large, die-hard fan base while touring with Metropolis Records label mates Mindless Self Indulgence as well as other international acts such as Mushroomhead, TigerArmy and appearing as a headlining act at many overseas festivals including Dark Malta, The Castle Party Festival in Poland and four times at the Wave Gotik Treffen festival in Leipzig Germany to an audience of over 30,000 fans.
The bands latest album LESS TO HEAVEN (Metropolis Records) is the seventh full length studio album from Psyclon Nine that sees the group charting undefined musical territory that bridges elements of metalcore with doom electronics, trip-techno with black metal, and experimental cinematic soundscapes with alternative rock. LESS TO HEAVEN featured two breakout singles “MONEY AND SEX AND SEX AND DEATH” and “SEE YOU ALL IN HELL”, which both were released as music videos.
