Formed in late 2010, CONCRETE emerged from Albany’s hardcore underground with one mission: drag the darkest, most violent corners of extreme music into the light. What began as a raw, primordial hardcore project has evolved into a fully weaponized entity — one that channels the brutality of Cryptopsy, Cannibal Corpse, and Dying Fetus while still carrying the grit of Upstate New York’s storied heavy scene.
Across their catalog, CONCRETE have become known for fast, punishing grooves, relentless riff assaults, and frenetic live shows that feel less like performances and more like controlled demolition. Their sound has sharpened and mutated over the years, and with their newest lineup, the band has entered its most vicious chapter yet.
CONCRETE now stands as a hybrid force — death metal, thrash, grind, and hardcore fused into a single, hostile organism. Every track is built on blast‑beat violence, serrated guitar work, and a rhythmic backbone that hits with the weight of industrial machinery. It’s a sound that pays homage to their roots while pushing far beyond them, aimed squarely at the global metal masses.
