Ancient Entities is a relentless four-piece technical death metal band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Formed in 2021 by guitarist and composer Alex Rausa, bassist Luke Veranth, and former members Bernardo Mendia (drums) and Luka Djordjevic (vocals), the band has evolved through several lineup changes. They are now joined by guitarist Jake Falk ,frontman John Chew, and Drummer Tim Cauley, solidifying a lineup ready to make an impact.
Ancient Entities crafts immersive sonic narratives rooted in ancient civilizations from Mayan blood rituals and Egyptian resurrection rites to the fall of Rome. Their debut album, Echoes of Annihilation (WormholeDeath Records, 2024), was mixed and mastered by Wojtek Wiesławski (Behemoth, Vader, Hate, Decapitated) and showcases a potent fusion of brutality, groove, and atmosphere, paired with historical storytelling and technical precision.
With only two shows under their belt, Ancient Entities made a rare and commanding debut opening for death metal legends Jungle Rot and Soulfly, immediately proving their power and professionalism on stage. Since then, they’ve carved their path through the Midwest and Southern U.S. metal scenes, appearing at Milwaukee Metal Fest 2024, Slam Dakota, 70,000 Tons of Metal pre parties, and The big island metal bash in Hawaii. Quickly earning a reputation as a must watch act in the rising wave of American death metal.
