Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Josey Scott is a celebrated artist with four Grammy nominations to his credit. As the original lead vocalist of SALIVA, Scott played a pivotal role in the band’s decade-long success. During his tenure, he co-wrote and record eight albums, release 19 singles, and sold over six million records worldwide, leave an indelible mark on the rock music scene.
In 2002, scott co-wrote and performed the iconic track “HERO” with Chad Kroeger of NICKLEBACK, which became one of the theme songs for the blockbuster film SPIDER-MAN. The song’s monumental success earned them the award for “Best Video From A Film” at the 2003 MTV Video Awards.
Scott’s influence spans beyond music. He has collaborated with industry giants like Jay-Z on “TAKEOVER” and worked with artists such as Lil Wyte & Three Six Mafia. His versatility shines through his appearances in television and film, including a notable role in the 2005 movie HUSTLE & FLOW alongside Academy Award winning actor Terrence Howard, and a recurring role as officer Rodney Gronbeck in the TNT series WANTED.
